The Commercial Pilot Certificate is much more than just being able to fly for hire. A commercial pilot must be professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and confident. Here at Summit Aviation, we will help you gain these traits and make you not only a better pilot, but a professional pilot.

Course Requirements

IN THE AIR (minimum)
- 250 hours Flight Time, including:
    - 1 Cross-Country > 300 Nm including 3 landings at different airports
    - 5 hours Night VFR
- 10 hours Pilot in Command, including;
    - 1 Night VFR Cross-Country > 100 Nm
    - 1 Day VFR Cross-Country > 100 Nm
    - 10 hours Complex Aircraft
    - 10 hours Instrument
- 20 hours training, including;
    - 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command
    - 50 hours Cross-Country

ON THE GROUND (minimum) 
- Required Ground Instruction
- Books and Supplies

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Medical Certificate
- FAA Written Exam
- FAA Flight Exam
