Born in Brazil, Carlos had the chance to fly in an airplane for the first time in 1980, but he also had to parachute out of it… he had joined the Brazilian Army parachute team. While in the army, Carlos attended aircraft maintenance school and later worked on DC10 engines for a Brazilian airline. Finally, in 1984 he started flight school and later moved to California where he worked as a ramp loader for Federal Express. He has flown all kinds of single and multi-engine aircraft, including airship, cargo planes, EMB 120 in the airlines and CRJs. Prior to joining Summit Aviation, Carlos flew the Phenom 300 in South America and on the East Coast. He loves the outdoors, “beaches” and playing tennis.Back To About Us
